LAUFFER, Head of Research, Stamford Division, Chesebrough-Pond's, was honored by the SOCIETY OF COSVrETIC CHEMISTS for his scientific achievements and for his services to the cosmetic industry. Dr. Lauffer was awarded the Medal of the Society during its annual dinner dance. Dr. Everett G. McDonough acted as toastmaster for the presenta- tion. H. Goulden was eulogist, and W. Dennis, as President of the SOCIETY, presented the Medal with the following citation: DR. PAUL G. I.
