3 Before we waived goodbye to 2020 (finally!) the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) announced the 2021 executive officers and area directors. They were officially installed during the SCC’s first ever virtual Annual Meeting – the 74th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase. Your board for the current year now consists of Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Streland (Croda, Inc.) as President Michelle Hines, PhD (Mary Kay, Inc.) serving as Vice President Mark Chandler (ACT Solutions Corp.) assuming the Vice President – Elect position Yulia Park, PhD (Amway) continues her term as Secretary and Karen Chun (Symrise) is the Society’s new Treasurer. BOARD OF DIRECTORS Introducing the 2021 Executive Committee Rounding out the Board and serving as Area Directors are: • Newly Elected Director Marie Thadal (Coptis, Inc.) and Senior Director Patricia Singh (Air Liquide) will serve Area I.
