66 JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS DIPLOMAS AND THE HIBBOTT MEMORIAL PRIZE Diplomas awarded to candidates who had successfully completed the Society's Diploma course in 1966/67, were presented at the Scientific Meeting on 5th October 1967. The presentations were made by the President, Mr. D. E. Butterfield. Eight of the eleven successful candidates were present to receive their Diplomas, including Mr. J. Gokhale, the recipient of the Hibbott Memorial Prize. SYMPOSIUM ON PROCESSING AND MANUFACTURING A Symposium on Processing and Manufacturing held at the Town Hall, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwicks., on the 13th and 14th November 1967, was attended by 150 participants from France, Germany, Nether- lands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Participation is permitted only when application has been made on the appropriate form, and the fee duly paid.
