362 JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS Annual Report 1963-64 During the past year the Society has continued to grow both in numbers and in stature. It has been an exceptionally busy year and this has been reflected in an increased burden on the Officers, Council and Committee members. A feature of the Society's activities which deserves special mention is the emphasis which has been placed on our relationship and co-operation with other scientific bodies. The Council believes that considerable progress has been made in this direction and hopes that one of the results will be an enhancement of the Society's status and a wider recognition of its existence and purpose.
