THE THIRD MEDAL AWARD December 5, 1950 Hotel Biltmore, New York, N.Y. THE AWARD OF A medal to an outstanding contributor to the art and science of cosmetics was an- nounced in the trade press and by special notice to members in June, 1948. The first medalist was Colonel Marston Taylor Bogerr, Professor Emeritus of organic chemistry, Co- lumbia University. The award was made December 8, 1948. A full account of the program appears in J. Soc. COSMETIC CHEMISTS, 1, 266 (1949). The second medalist was Dr. Ralph Liggett Evans, President, Evans Chemetics, Inc., Evans Re- search and Development Corp., and Sales Affiliates, Inc.
