LOCATION OF BOOKS ON COSMETIC FORMULATIONS Procedure for the Borrowing of Books from the Society's Library A. Books may be borrowed at any time by or through any member in good standing, for a period of one month at a time. At the end of this time, the books are to be returned or reported for renewal and may be renewed by the same member, for another month, provided that no one else has urgently requested them. Should anyone be waiting for it, a borrowed book must be returned by the first member but it may be borrowed again when it becomes available. B. The old and rare books of the collection are to be given special consideration, depend- ing on valuation and condition, i.e., an extremely rare or valuable book, or one in poor physical condition, may not be taken from the Academy borrowers must go there to read them, or microfilms may be prepared from them, which may be borrowed under the same conditions as those of a book.
