NEW YORK SECTION NEWS T.E SEPT•MBF•}• meeting featured a talk by Mrs. Maria Wiener, technical director of the Fluid Chemical Company. Mrs. Wiener discussed the factors involved in obtaining the desired spray pattern the importance of design of valve and actuator, pressure and flashing as well as physical and chemical characteristics. Miss Elizabeth Ramsey, bacteriologist for the Leberco Laboratory, spoke on "Microbiology and Its Place in the Cosmetic Industry," at the October 23rd meeting. Miss Ramsey, a graduate of Cornell University, has been a consultant and research worker in the field of bacteriology for over 19 years.
