60 JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS The Publication Prize, which is annually awarded to the best original paper submitted to the Journal, was presented for the second year running to a group from Unilever. The illuminated scroll and oe100 prize were awarded to Dr Colin Prottey, Mr Peter Hartop and Mr Terence Ferguson of the Unilever Research Laboratory, Colworth/Welwyn, for their paper 'The Effects of Soap on Certain Aspects of Skin Biochemistry' which was presented at the Society's Oxford Symposium in April, 1972.
