The 1969 Society of Cosmetic Chemists Award sponsored by Inter- national Flavors and Fragrances, Inc., has been presented to Dr. Leszek J. Wolfram of the Gillette Research Institute for his paper "Modifica- tion of Hair by Internal Deposition of Polymers" and to Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman of the University of Miami School of Medicine and Dr. Albert M. Kligman of the University of Pennsylvania Dept. of Derma- tology for their paper "Some Observations on Dandruff." The award, consisting of a scroll and a $1000 honorarium, is pre- sented annually to the author or authors of the most meritorious paper published in the Jou•tN^I. or TI-IE SOC•F,T¾ Or COSMF, VIC CI-IF, M•SVS, U.S.A.
