(Dinner jackets or dark suits.) 5.15 p.m. SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS European Tour ON 6TIt SEPTEMBER 1958 Rome was invaded by a large contingent of Members of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists. This was a great occasion since it was the start of an extensive tour, lasting 18 days, of five of the capitals of Europe, the main object being further to promote some form of International Association of Cosmetic Chemists throughout the world. The American contingent was headed by their President, Mr. James Baker, supported by Past Presidents, which included the well-known Mr. M. G. de Navarre and, of course, under the surveillance and care of Mr. Robert A. Kramer, who had organised, collected the monies, and arranged all the details of the days which were to follow.
