Goff, Chairman-Elect, William D. Ackley, Treasurer Mr. Klcpetar was born in Czechoslovakia, attended the University of Prague for two years and came to the United States in 1939. He received his degree in chemistry at Linfield College and continued postgraduate studies at the University of Chicago. His activities in the American Chemical Society go back over a number of years and the various positions he held include chairmanships of the House, endowment, office affairs, nominating committee and for the past two years Chairman of the Pro- fessional Relations and Status Committee of the Chicago Section. Mr. Klepetar is a councilor for the Chicago Section to the National Society and is a member of the Rubber Divisiort of the American Chemical Society.
