64 JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF COSMETIC CHEMISTS It is now time for me to introduce and install the officers for 1967. But before I do this I would like to thank you all for having had the privilege of serving this Society. It is an honor that I will always cherish. Like most of you in this audience today, I make my living in this great cosmetic industry. It is also the field in which most of us ob- tain the intellectual satisfaction that comes from working within a scientific discipline. And, most of all, the Society has made it possible for me to make innumerable friends. For these reasons, working for the SCC has become my way of repay- ing the industry, the Society, and the many persons in it for the satisfac- tion it has brought to me. I hope that this past year's activities have in some small way contributed to that end. Thank you.
