Es folgten in vier Vortrags- sitzungen Referate zu den Themen P•cho/ogie, •lna(ytik, praktische •lnwendung, IVirkstoffe und Haare. Die Diskussionen zu den einzelnen Vortriigen waren lebhaft und anregend. Erleichtert wurden sie vor allera dadurch, dab die Auto- referate zu diesen Arbeiten den Teilnehmem des Kongresses bereits gedruckt tiberreicht wetden konnten. Der gesellschaftliche Teil trug zu einem sehr engen pers6nlichen Kontakt der Tagungsteilnehmer bei. In der unbeschwerten Atmosphiire dieset Veran- staltung wurden das fachliche und pers6nliche, mannigfaltige Anregungen fruchtbar vermittelnde Gespriich und die Ankntipfung neuer Beziehungen wesentlich gef6rdert. H6hepunkte dieses Teiles waren der Ausflug an den Chiemsee und den Tegernsee reit dem Bayrischen Abend in fr6hlichster Stimmung, zu der die Priisidenten aller Gesellschaften sehr aktiv beitrugen, sowie das Festbankett in einer festlichen und doch ge16st heiteren, menschlich verbindenden Atmosphiire. Fach- und Tagespresse sowie mehrere Rundfunksender bewiesen ein leb- haftes Interesse an der Tagung. Wiihrend des Kongresses fand eine Sitzung des Rates der IFSCC statt, in der Dr. R. Marriott zum neuen Priisidenten gewiihlt wurde. Das Direktions- komitee besteht jetzt aus dem ersten IFSCC-Priisidenten M. G. deNavarre, Dr. J. Artigas, Dr. P. V•lon und Dr. L.-W. Masch. Schatzmeister ist G. D ony, Vertreter der deutschen Gesellschaft im Rat der IFSCC bleiben Dr. Masch und Dr. Neugebauer. Der n•ichste KongreB der IFSCC, in der nunmehr Belgien, D•inemark, Deutschland, England, Frankreich, Iralien, Japan, Schweiz, Spanien und USA vertreten sind, soll 1962 in London stattfinden.
