These results are not surprising, as oil-in-water creams in most cases show better spreadabilities and better penetrations than water-in-oil creams. Evaluation of the positive assessment of skin condition after the test period shows large differences between the centers, but no differences between the test products (see Figure 6). Similar results were found for the assessment of the change of the skin surface (see Figure 7). The reasons for the weak improvements in skin condition and skin surface smoothness
